King's Evil- S/T
Boston’s King’s Evil nails the sweet spot on their six-track self-titled debut, pouring a rich DIY sauce of group harmonies over guitars jagged as crooked teeth and surprising, pew-pew synth tones that shouldn't work together, but do. It’s an odd, addicting brew channeling the scrapyard indie energy of Swearin' with pops of BTS, all before drifting into the levitating Broadcast-esque textures of the closer.
