Mar-Vista- Visions of Sodal Ye

Recorded in Lille in 1973 by Claude Cuvelier and Jean Skowron, Visions of Sodal Ye is a heavy, hypnotizing oddity of state-of-the-art home experimentation that channels Tangerine Dream space-scapes and Indonesian gamelan obsessiveness through a battery of Mini Korg, Farfisa, and Yamaha synths. Woozy, weird, and deeply cool, these longform psychedelic electronics sound like close encounters caught on tape, a genuinely way-out-there artifact originally self-released in a run of just 150 copies with the title painted in nail polish.
