Straight out of the Ohio underground, Cincinnati's Spoils arrive fully-formed on their debut, Mile Wide Inch Deep, presenting seven songs of hi-fi alt rock, violin threading wide-open Midwestern air through layers of Stereolab-worthy rhythmic propulsion. The only complaint is that it's over too soon.
