Chet Sounds, the Australian DIY auteur, draws on the feral grace of his homeland's wildlife for "Wild Things Run Fast," a piano-led confection from his third album, Tying Up Loose Ends, that moves with the loose-limbed swagger of seventies soft rock. It’s a perfect mixture of Weather Report's playful complexity and Todd Rundgren's cheerful refusal to be serious.
