Neon Castle
Neon Castles unearths a trove of velour-draped reveries from Charls Bals’s bottomless vault, whose glittering wreckage of mid-1980s private-press keepsakes were compiled in the legendary America Dream Reserve. From the unflagging Smiling C label comes a clutch of over-embellished, defiantly exotic, limousine-length hymns to moonlit crystal visions, quietly sung by these phantom heirs to Stevie Nicks and Kate Bush.
