On the first night of December, and a mild New York City winter’s day, Angel Olsen & company performed a spellbinding set of her most recent material tugging at every heart string in attendance at the sold out Brooklyn Steel theater. Opening the show were mega-loud San Francisco psych-folk maestros Heron Oblivion who cleansed the palate of the entire chamber hall with their deafening drones and cultus crescendos.
